All the fun of the fair!
Could this have been the best year ever?!
Held annually in the sunshine of the school grounds our fair attracts lots of families from our community to kick off the holiday season with games and treats. This year, as always, there was a lot of fun activities to keep the children busy!
With help from the class teachers, the parents of each class from Nursery to Grade 7 organised, set up and ran an activity.
This year the activities included healthy smoothies bar, cotton candy stall, craft shop, sponge the elf, in-a-prize games, cookie decorating, art auction, tombola, face painting and of course photos with Santa our special guest.
All proceeds from the International School Christmas Fair will go to new educational supplies and sporting equipment for the school, plus each class will get a percentage of the profits from their activity to spend on their classroom.
Back by popular demand (by the children) was the ‘Gunge a teacher/parent’ competition.
What great sports our teachers are! Mr. Butterworth was the winner this year and entertained the children with a big smile whilst green spaghetti dripped down his neck!
Energetic members of the PTA staffed the festive bar and the delicious grill! Many thanks to all the helpers!
