Trip to the National Museum in Providenciales
We had a wonderful opportunity to view and talk further about the history of the Turks and Caicos Islands this month. Our trip to the National Museum in Providenciales was surely a different learning experience from the typical classroom environment. Further reading about the National Museum. For sure, we anticipated viewing many more artefacts of historical values, but our presenter and Archeologist, Mr Donald Keith, initiated his presentation by stressing the focus of the story lines in history rather than the actual tangible evidence. He sold it quite well as we all know that every little boy and girl, as well as adults, love to listen to good stories.
