This year the ISTCI entered a team of 3 children into the National Science Fair competition: Auren Riggs, Matthew Phillips and Jacey Hannenberg.
The three children investigated the potential use of 'Bananas for Energy' and produced an excellent display board, along with a detailed presentation showing excellent confidence in subject matter when being judged.
The idea was passed on to us by another student of the ISTCI: Shaurya Vyas who had done a previous Science Fair research project into this topic and, with his wonderful advice and help, we followed this lead. The project required teamwork and diligence, and the final result was excellent: the ISTCI team gained 1st place!
An outstanding achievement from an outstanding team of children! We are so very proud of you all!
