Books galore for our library!
A big thank you to our PTA, and certain individual families, for providing such a great collection of new books for the library!
Hurricane Irma was not kind to our school library. A window was broken and water poured in and soaked our well loved books! We lost approximately 3000 books!

Thankfully the parents of ISTCI have been very kind and the donations have been ‘flooding' in (no pun intended….ha ha). We have had many donations of gently used books from parents and friends, and some parents have generously purchased new books from our wish list.
Our PTA has purchased $3000 worth of books to update our library and replenish the lost books.
A big thank you to all of the parents who ordered books from our Scholastic Catalogue this term!
This was the biggest order that we have had so far and we were able to spend over $200 on new books!
We are getting 30 new books for our library.
The new books have really ignited a new passion for reading within our student body. The children are excited to come in and find new books to read, and are excited to read the next book in the series or try a different genre!
We are very thankful for the kind and generous donations we have received.
The books have been dispatched and will be here soon.
