On Thursday, 19 October, The International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands welcomed our Grade 6 -8 parents to the grand opening of our newest facility, our Middle School.     We were absolutely thrilled to have Turks and Caicos' Minister of Education, Hon. Karen Malcolm, and the Director of Education, Mr Edgar Howell in attendance. ISTCI is grateful for the lovely speech given by Hon. Malcolm.   Students gave speeches of how the Middle School has enhanced their learning and how the new facility has motivated them.     Grade 7 and 8 students helped our guests tour the campus and check out the projects that students have created using new educational tools and resources.       Our students showed off their brand new relaxation area equipped with relaxing hammocks!   To end our special evening, our Middle School students assisted in serving our guests delightful hors-d'oeuvres and refreshments catered by Bliss.     It was a wonderful evening! We are thankful for those who attended. Thank you for your support as we embrace a new concept of higher education.
