Last term, Grade 3 learnt all about plants!
The children focused on identifying the functions and parts of a plant and understood what plants needed for growth. We were so lucky to have such an amazing and dedicated grandparent - Ms Barbara Fulton!
She came every Friday with a new plant and showed children what each particular plant needed to grow. Ms Fulton's passion for gardening and education is contagious and the children learnt so much from her!
This term, Grade 3 will start another garden on the school grounds, putting their knowledge about the plants to the task. Stay tuned for our gardening adventures!
