The Senior Kindergarten daycare classroom reflects an environment that offers opportunities for children in seven learning areas; Personal, Social, and Emotional Development, Literacy, Communication and Language, Understanding of the World, Expressive Arts and Design, Physical Development and Mathematical Development.
Our daycare is set up with different activities each day. The children work in groups of 5 to 6 and rotate around these activities, which are carefully matched to children’s abilities and areas of development. The materials in each centre assist the children to develop their skills whilst providing opportunities for exploration through play.
We also have some creative and inspiring outdoor activities for children’s development such as; nature walks, morning exercise, organised games and many more. The children are enjoying the daylight, fresh air around the school and engaging with their peers.
We also encourage children to play freely using their imagination to create new games - this is an excellent opportunity to practice physical skills. Giving children the freedom of playing outdoor helps them to feel happier and calmer.
