Learn & Lead Educational Center Workshop:

‘Attention and Focus in Children’

We were very excited to kick off 2016 with a Learn & Lead Educational Center workshop.

This morning the team from Learn & Lead Educational Center worked with 16 staff members of our International School staff on the topic of ‘Attention and Focus in Children.’

The objective of this morning’s workshop was to help staff members further develop their personal teaching philosophies, knowledge and techniques as it relates to helping children with their levels of attention and, focus in order for them to excel and reach their academic, social and behavioral potential.

Our Staff members enjoyed stimulating activities and discussions related to creating environments of success. Professional development is an essential part of the teaching profession, and ensures that teachers adjust to the changes/ growth in our society.

Current research is constantly being published suggesting new ways to help students reach their full potential and we need to keep up to date with changes in the world of education and to be open to new ways of teaching.

Yolande Robinson, Educational Consultant from Learn & Lead Educational Center, provided a variety of interactive multimedia lessons, practical strategies for the classroom and the tools teachers need to come up with strategies specific to their everyday classroom needs and challenges.
