International School of the TCI Graduation 2015
The class of 2015 has graduated!
The International School of the TCI hosted a wonderful evening on the open air stage to celebrate the culmination of a truly enjoyable and successful school year.
As the sun set on another memorable year parents, guardians, friends and family were treated to a fun evening of speeches, awards, dances and songs.
Kindergarten Classes put on a great performance
The 2014/2015 was a year full of wonderful social events, academic achievements, cultural events, sporting success, science fair winners and of course the personal and educational growth of our wonderful children.

It is always an evening full of pride and celebration, yet always tinged with sadness as we say goodbye to our Grade 6 who move on to the next chapter of their academic lives.
The older children confidently and proudly presented their special leaving speeches to the audience and commented on their time at the International School of the TCI. They looked back at their journey in this primary school with a sense of achievement and remembered all the happy times.

Many of the children had started at the school in the preschool class and had nine happy years to reflect on. We will certainly miss these confident and talented fledglings.
Moving onto Grade 1 for the next adventure!
We enjoyed a happy celebration for the class of Senior Kindergarten 2014/5 who now graduate from the Early Years Foundation Stage to the Grade 1 class. They had learnt a special song and a dance to present on the stage and proudly wore their graduation board hats with pride.
Most of these children have also been with us since preschool and it has been amazing to see them grow up into happy and accomplished little individuals.
The emphasis for the graduation ceremony was on showcasing our children. Each grade teacher spoke and reminisced about the year before presenting their children who performed a dance or song they had diligently prepared.
The audience enjoyed songs from musicals such as 'The Lion King', a rap about bullying and even a Latin dance performed by mixed ages, a product from the after school dance club.
The Lion King is born!
One guarantee about ‘life on the rock’ is that life is constantly changing and people come and go, so it was with great sadness that we said goodbye to a few familiar faces. Mrs. Danics, Special Support Coordinator, who had two children pass happily through our school, leaves the school for a new start in Canada after 10 years at the school.
Goodbye Mrs. Danics and Amy!
Mrs. Nesbitt now moves to Special Support Coordinator after 17 years as a Grade Teacher. Also Mr. De Fraine, our PE teacher is moving to develop his water sports profession.
Long standing achievement awards were presented to Ms. Barbara Marshall for her 10 years at the school, Mme. Josiane Rateau for her 15 years and Ms. Judith Modest for her 10 years at the school. The International School of the TCI would like to give thanks for the support of the parents, hard work from the teachers and for the constant exuberance and thirst for knowledge from the children.
School's out for summer!
We wish the fledglings and leavers the very best of luck for their future!
