In addition to this wonderful note of thanks below from our Principal, the parent community would also like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the hard working teachers of the International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

As part of Teacher Appreciation Day at International School, on Friday 6th March, the teachers were treated to a special lunch courtesy of the PTA in the school staff room. Parent volunteers covered the lunchtime playground duties whilst the staff team luncheoned together.

"I would like to thank all of our amazing classroom teachers, teachers and support staff. As part of our work in moving the school to further excellence, we employed the services of a School Inspector, Principal and Educational Consultant from the UK as well as an Educational Consultant from Providenciales. Part of this process has involved formal evaluations of classroom teaching. At the latest observations all of our teachers were identified as being skilled and talented classroom practitioners; something I am very proud of.

They are: Drani Saunders, Mary Jimenez, Vina Sanchez Maranan, Delia Penticott Taylor, Tracey Nesbitt, Jessica Barnett, Oniel Chung, Michelle Chung, Natalia Kilic, Irene Danics, Josiane Rateau, Natasha Germeus, Judith Modest, Barbara Francis, Laura Rennie & Mark Defraine.

I would also like to acknowledge the excellent work done by Miss Barbara Marshall and Mr Sauveur Montesime. It is with pride and a great sense of privilege that I lead this talented and dedicated team and express my gratitude for all of their support and hard work.
