June 2012 - We shimmered, sparkled and shined the night away at our annual Ashcroft Spring Fling. The Penthouse at Leeward Resort was the perfect setting for the school community and friends to enjoy cocktails and an array of hot dishes and sweets while the DJ provided the perfect soundtrack for dancing on the star lit terraces. With the dress code being ’glitter and bling’ we certainly lit up the night! A huge silent auction was held to raise important PTA funds. Everyone was very motivated to bid by the range of auction items that were kindly donated by local businesses. The evening was also the perfect place to proudly showcase our children’s artwork. Each class had worked together to produce amazing pieces of artwork such as mirror frames, framed pictures, mobiles and more. The parents were able to silent bid for each item and take it home with them. Overall it was a wonderful occasion and the perfect way to celebrate another great year at Ashcroft School.
