Time sure flies when you are having fun! We can hardly believe we have been in Grade 1 for a whole month. We have been working hard and having fun. All students have enjoyed a smooth transition after the summer break. Grade 1 has been exploring the topic: ‘Ourselves-the growth and development of humans and animals’. Everyone enjoyed sharing baby and toddler pictures and stories of when they were younger. We enjoyed learning about the many ways in which we are both similar and different. It has been fun learning from each other and integrating our topic across a wide range of subject areas.
