We can hardly believe we have completed a term of school already! We have had so much fun learning and playing together. Christmas is a special time for people from all around the world and in Grade 1 it is also a special time for us. We enjoyed Christmas stories from all around the world and we also enjoyed rehearsing for our Christmas play ‘Children of the World’ where we learnt so many songs from different countries. We had so much fun making Christmas decorations for our classroom and sharing what we like about Christmas. Here is what we like about Christmas. Tim:     “I like getting presents from Santa”. Jaydon: “I love decorating the Christmas tree and opening presents with my mum and dad”. Alessio: “I love waking up on Christmas morning and seeing my presents”. Emilia:   “I love when Santa brings me presents”. James: “I love when Santa brings me presents. He is so nice”. Jake:    “I love when Santa comes to my house”. Ella:      “I love when Santa comes to give us presents. He is very fast because he can get around the world in one night”. Saskia: “I love when Santa comes to my house and I like to look at different Christmas trees”. Avah: “I love getting presents for Christmas”. Merry Christmas to everyone!
