December has been a very exciting and busy month for Grade 4.
We have been making Christmas decorations out of household items, such as used light bulbs, pipe cleaners and paint. We have been very creative and had some special Elves come into our classroom to help us. We have been making Grinches, Santas, snowmen and reindeer out of old light bulbs. The end results were amazing and will be hung on our Christmas trees with care!!!! We will also be making little reindeers out of wine corks.
Our Christmas Fair was spectacular. We had very exciting games such as the sponge toss (Thank you Mr. DeFraine and Mr. Chung who were the targets), decorating cookies, face painting and arts & crafts. We had a lot of exciting performances too.
Our play was last night and the children did an amazing job. The title was Children of the World. It took us a while to get it right but in the end it came out to be a wonderful performance. It was touching.
Today we are doing Brainiacs. Brainiacs is a quiz for the children and the children are very excited. It tests your knowledge about what you have learned about over the first term.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS from Grade 4 !!!
