In Literacy Grade 6 have been reading War Horse – a fabulous novel by Michael Morpurg, and even written playscripts and acted it out in front of Mrs Jimenez. Grade 6 have enjoyed reading War Horse – a challenging but moving story written in the eyes of Joey. Within this section of fictional studies we have focused on punctuation such as speech marks, colons, semi colons, multiple commas in a sentence and how to identify clauses. Our Big Writing has covered being in battle; Grade 6 are producing some great work.
