International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands Clubs

After School Clubs will begin the week starting 12th January and will run for 7 weeks.

Clubs cost $8 per session. Unless otherwise stated, clubs run from 3.15-4.15pm.  

What is happening after school?

There is certainly something for everyone! We have designed an exciting range of fun and educational after school activities. We see the return of many favourites like LEGO, Fancy Nancy, Noodles and scrapbooking but also the introduction of Knitting and Calligraphy. So, there are lots of fun activities to keep little fingers busy and the opportunity to learn new skills! There is also a strong emphasis on Maths and Literacy as Mrs. Hinks and Mr. Chung have created three clubs to engage the upper grades and push the boundaries of learning! This will help with exam preparation for those in Grade 5 and Grade 6. Sportstastic! Friday afternoons are going to be exciting! Our sports teacher, Mr. De Fraine, will run his usual sports club with a twist. This club will take place at the Graceway Sports Centre and we will be joined by pupils from Provo Primary so we can have inter-school competitions! Introducing Ballet - Register in the office ASAP! Ms. Sandy Ferguson, a trained and very experienced elementary and high school teacher as well as a Master Classical Ballet teacher, will be offering 3 different Ballet Clubs this term in our designated 'studio' with wall length mirrors and air conditioning. She spends 6 months a year here in Provo and 6 months a year in Canada.  She was involved in the Pantomime, has taught at Miss Shara’s dance school as well as at Provo Primary and so she may be a familiar face to some of you. She is kindly offering 3 clubs at our school this term: Monday 3.15 – 4.15: Grade 4 - 6 Wednesday 3.15 – 4.15: JK & SK Friday 3.15 – 4.15: Grade 1 – 3

Please sign up for the clubs you would like your child to participate in.  All payments need to be made in advance, please see Ms. Barbara in the office. Please note that students are not considered enrolled in clubs until the registration form and payment has been received. Please note that if you have more than one child and only one of them wishes to attend a club on a given day, you must arrange for your other child to be picked up from school or sign them into a club too.  Enrollment is on a first-come first-served basis and some clubs may be very popular, so be sure to make your choices ASAP. Please consider that the children will need extra water on club days and might require an extra snack before the clubs start.
