We are hungry to learn!

Grade 1 have been having such an amazing time reading and learning about nature and so many other fun topics with our favourite books written by Eric Carle. We have integrated ‘Rooster’s off to see the World’ and ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ in our numeracy lessons of counting, addition, subtraction and doubling. During our science lesson about plants we have enjoyed reading ‘The Tiny Seed’ and learning about the ideal conditions under which a seed grows. We have also enjoyed making caterpillars from recycled egg trays and learning about ‘The Grouchy Ladybug' and so many other amazing creatures!
