This term in French class Junior Kindergarten have been learning all about plants, flowers and seeds.  They discussed what plants need and have learnt all the vocubulary associated with gardening such as soil, water, sunshine, seeds, plants, flowers and trees.

They were able to choose the seeds they wanted to grow and learnt how to plant them in our peace park. The peace park is at the far end of the large playground and provides a nice shady spot for each class to do some gardening.  The children were very enthusiastic and enjoyed the experience to plant their seeds and watch them grow and speak french to them!
