Exciting New Playground Equipment for 2018

Exercise, exploration and fun are very important for healthy minds and bodies. It has been wonderful to see our children enjoy their new playground equipment at the Nursery School and in the main playground. A fair amount of the existing wooden structures and playground equipment was sadly damaged in the hurricanes of 2017. This was an opportunity to create new play areas and breathe new life into our playtimes! Plus the PTA have provided more traditional toys like scooters, skipping ropes and hoops for the children to enjoy too! The new brightly coloured playground equipment in the main recreational area is big and bright with two large slides, a climbing wall, monkey bars, rings, fireperson pole, drums, puzzles, tunnels and so much more to explore. The Nursery School equipment provides a safe and fun challenge for the little people. It includes slides, tunnels, climbing and hoops.

  A tour around the grounds will reveal a school that buzzes with activity, where children are stimulated by the different types of play ground activities which feature a purpose designed playground the Nursery School, Foundation Stage and all the Grade students in the main recreational area. Our children enjoy the open space for creative free play that our campus offers. Playgrounds play an essential role in the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being of children right from the stage of early childhood. It is a natural tool for children to develop resiliency as they learn to cooperate, overcome challenges, and negotiate with others. Play is essential!
