Grade 4

Providenciales, 5 March 2015 – The International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands is thrilled to announce 1st place in the primary school category of the annual TCI Science Fair, 2015 sponsored by Fortis TCI. This was the first time entering the competition for the International School of the Turks and Caicos and they achieved 1st place with their Science Project and 3rd place in the Science Quiz.

In French this month we had many activities going on. We mostly learned about the environment of a tropical island, nature, the sea. In Grade 2 we learned about the weather and the seasons. The children had a special art class, from a Canadian artist. They learned special skills and tricks to draw and colour the four seasons. Everyone enjoyed the experience. Here are some pictures of the class and a few drawings.

Getting around Turks and Caicos Islands - The National Environmental Centre in the Bight, The National Museum in Grace Bay, Las Brisas, the iguanas in Chalk Sound and Cheshire Hall, those are some of the places that our class has visited over the past weeks. We really have got around the Turks and Caicos Islands!
