The International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands' staff, parents and children made a huge effort this weekend to help with the International Coastal Clean-Up.
The International Coastal Clean-Up Day is an annual event in which the Department of Environment and Coastal Resources (DECR) organises to coordinate underwater, beach and coastal cleanups throughout Turks and Caicos.
All volunteers met at Coral Gardens at 7 am promptly and collected 45 bags of trash between the Coral Gardens site and the Bight Park and Bight Beach Road!
Children as young as Grade 1 came along to help, showing such a wonderful attitude towards helping our environment; what an amazing effort our school played!
