Fantastic Festive Fun at the International School Christmas Fair 2015
Santa settled in nicely into his grotto ready for photos with the children.
The PTA of the International School excelled themselves again this year and put on a truly festive Christmas Fair.
Held annually at the International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands the fair attracts lots of smiling festive people from all around our community.
This year, as always, there was a lot to keep the children busy! They loved seeing Santa!
THE GUNGING!
New this year was the water gun game from Grade 5 with great prizes and also the ‘gunge a teacher’ money raiser idea from Grade 2, which culminated in the ‘gunging’ of Mrs. Saunders and Mr. Park.
The children loved this!
So much to do!
Everyone loved the sponge stocks…poor elf Mr. Bell (organized by Grade 2).
We had the ever popular tombola (organized by Grade 4), cookie decorating (organized by Grade 6), the throwing competition (organized by Grade 5), cake walk game (organized by JK) , photos with Santa (organized by Grade 6), craft workshop (organized by SK) and baked treats and cakes stall (organized by PS).
Also we had 'Where is Santa in TCI?' raffle game, organised by Grade 3, which was very popular.
Then in the Festive Disco room, organised by Grade 1, we had flashing lights, disco lights and an actual DJ!
The bounce houses are always popular!
Each class, with the help of their teacher, made a beautiful Christmas Wreath to silent auction. The parents battled over the bid sheets to claim their prize.
All proceeds from the International School Christmas Fair will go to new sporting equipment for the school, plus each class will get a part of the proceeds to spend on their classroom.
Thank you to all those who took part and made it so special. See you next year!
