Grade 2 tackles GERMS!
March 12, 2020
Category:
Grade 2
Today the children of Grade 2 learnt about proper handwashing and how to keep safe from germs.
As a part of their Animals, Including Humans Science unit, they conducted a "Glitter Germ Experiment".
They each had different coloured "germs" and played games to see how their glitter germs spread.
Then the children tried hand sanitizer and soap to see which cleaned their hands the best.
T
his gave the students a more concrete understanding of how handwashing and germ prevention work.
The children also took a Germ Pledge, made their own germ craft and named their germ!
There were lots of singing "Happy Birthday" and "ABC's" during the day!
Well done, Grade 2!
