Grade 6 explore the Amanyara Reef

Grade 6 spent a lovely morning with Jackie Walker at Amanyara learning about and exploring the reef balls! They learnt about different types of corals and how these reef balls are actually designed to create new areas for corals to grow on. It was amazing being able to snorkel out over the huge reef balls and to see Jackie, the expert, take a piece of coral from the nursery and attach it to the reef balls; simply a wonderful experience. The children loved it!
