Grade 6 is working on improving their writing and using a wider range of ambitious vocabulary (WOW Words) to give their writing an even more mature feel. They are starting their narrative unit and writing their own short stories!   The children did a ‘cold write’ based on their previous knowledge. Ms. Mackenzie was really impressed with what they are already including for example; high-level punctuation, paragraphs, varied openers and figurative language.     They will have a 1:1 conference to identify ways forward for each of them to help them even further improve! A fantastic start to the term! 😊
