Greening TCI Month Photographic Competition
We are pleased and proud to announce that Oliver French, Grade 5, achieved 2nd place in the Greening TCI Month Photographic Competition organized by DEMA. Such a wonderful achievement for his age. The winning Photo: Curly Tailed Lizard by Oliver French
DEMA said they received a number of magnificent entries and were overwhelmed by the photographic talent among our youth!The following entries were placed accordingly:
- 1st Place: Logan Elliot, British West Indies Collegiate, Reddish Egret flying over Turtle Lake, Discovery Bay
- 2nd Place: Oliver French, The International School, Curly Tail Lizard, Providenciales
- 3rd Place: Alex Maclaren, British West Indies Collegiate, Osprey, Providenciales

The photographs were printed and were put on display at the National Environment Centre (from 5 June). It's a great idea to visit the National Environment Centre with your children as it is full of fun things to learn about and touch!Honourable mention for the Greening TCI Month Photographic Competition goes to:

Greening TCI Month Photographic Competition Entries were judged on the following criteria:
- Theme: Is the photograph true to the theme
- Originality: Is the photograph unique
- Composition: Is the photograph well arranged in the frame
- Artistic Merit: Is the photograph taken from a creative perspective
- Overall Impact: What feeling does the photograph evoke in the viewer
