Dear Teachers and Students,
Thank you for an overwhelming response to the International Day for Biodiversity, 'Greening the Blue' Essay Competition.
We are happy to announce the following winners:
Ages 13 - 15: Hayden Williams, International School of the Turks & Caicos Islands
Ages 16 - 18: Gilbert Aquino, TCI Middle School
Honorable mention goes to: Thamara Pierre, Maranatha Academy and to Devonya Williams, Long Bay High School.

Judging Criteria
We have an Editor that reads every single essay in each age group; that Editor flags the first round of essay finalists; we then have a second Peer Editor that double checks the first Editor's picks and either adds or deletes essays to the finalist pool.
