From Monday, November 6, 2023, to Friday, November 17, 2023, 23 talented students from the International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands participated in the competition. Using various artistic mediums such as paint, pencil, crayons, and collages, these young artists showcased their unique perspectives on creating a greener TCI.
After meticulous evaluation by the panel of judges, we are thrilled to announce Hayley Williams from the International Middle School as the winner of the competition. Hayley's artwork stood out for its creativity, originality, and its compelling representation of a sustainable future for the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The Energy and Utilities Department is delighted to present Ms. Hayley Williams with the competition prize—a $150 gift voucher to any local GraceWay supermarket. This award recognizes her outstanding contribution to the competition and her commitment to promoting environmental sustainability. All other participating students will receive well-deserved participation certificates to acknowledge their efforts and enthusiasm in contributing to this meaningful initiative.
