Students, well-wishers, family members, teachers and friends enjoyed a very special celebration and a look back on a wonderful year at the International School Graduation 2016.
The graduation ceremony was a special event for our Grade 6, and some Grade 5, students as they started a new chapter of their lives at 'big school'. It was wonderful to hear from our student speakers as they gave touching speeches about their primary school years.
We were very pleased to welcome back our ex-student Achsah Wildish, who gave a truly inspirational speech to our young minds and reminisced about her days at the International School. Achsah Wildish, from the British West Indies Collegiate (BWIC), was recently presented with a prestigious award from Cambridge International Examinations after placing top in the world in AS-Level mathematics in the June 2015 Cambridge examinations.
Our students then preformed a few dance and songs from the hit musical Grease and the audience clapped and sang along.
Trophies were also presented to those students who have excelled in Maths during the year.
Onwards Senior Kindergarten!
Also graduating was our Senior Kindergarten class who now move to Grade 1! The class of 2016 have achieved so much and we are truly proud of them. Proudly wearing their board hats they sang and performed for the audience and received their certificates of achievement.
