Every year in June we hold the International School Science Fair when all the children from Grades 3-6 research, test and produce a poster detailing their research and their scientific findings to a panel of judges.
It is an opportunity for each grade to show off their fantastic scientific inquiry skills: fair testing, predicting, concluding and more. The project were all completed in the children's own time which required a great deal of maturity and determination to see the project through.
Our annual school science fair exposes our children to a broad range of opportunities for scientific inquiry, arming them with the tools and knowledge they need to answer their questions about the world around them.
School science experiments are a great way to demonstrate important concepts in biology, physics and chemistry and the work and research continued at home on their individual science projects really boosts this learning.
Whilst presenting their projects the children showed a great deal of understanding and thorough research!
The projects explored a diverse range of subjects and were presented well. Well done to all the participants!
Special thanks to our judges who said that the standard of projects and presentations was very high. Our guest judges were Prakash Mishra and Mr. and Mrs. Haynes, both Science teachers from the British West Indies Collegiate.
