Last term, The International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands hosted an interschool swim meet. Provo Primary and Middle School were invited to compete in various length races in the four competitive swimming strokes.
It was great fun for all involved, with many smiles and laughter throughout the event. This was also the first test of ISTCI's swimming squad which was started last term by Mr Rushton and Mr Williams.
Our students consistently trained before and after school in competitive swim racing. They made amazing progress and the times they got in the meet speak for themselves.
Every swimmer enjoyed the competitive nature of the races, with many of them being close. The crowd was fantastic in cheering on the swimmers, which created an amazing atmosphere.
A big THANK YOU to Provo Primary and Middle School for attending the event.
It is days such as these, which can inspire a child to be part of sport for life. The International School encourages and teaches our students to be lifelong participants of sport.
