In a thrilling display of mathematical prowess, The International School of the Turks and Caicos clinched the top spot in the 2nd Annual Primary Mathematics Jeopardy competition. The school was represented by the dynamic duo of Rishaan Gopaldas and Iliad Snider, under the guidance of their coach, Mrs. Shanna-Gaye Grant.
The event, held at Beaches on Monday, November 20th, showcased the exceptional talents of participants from various schools across the Turks and Caicos Islands. Rishaan and Iliad emerged as the frontrunners, securing an impressive 46,000 points!
Mrs. Grant, the guiding force behind the success of the dynamic duo, serves as both a grade 6 teacher and a dedicated math coach at ISTCI. Her commitment to nurturing mathematical acumen among students has undoubtedly played an important role in their achievements.
The duo's outstanding performance captivated the audience, the judges, fellow participants, parents, and teachers alike. Their quick-wittedness and strategic gameplay set them apart in what was a fiercely competitive environment.
