In Senior Kindergarten the children have been learning about Jack and the Beanstalk.

They enjoyed a range of activities like role-playing and hot seating. They also discussed the characters in the story and even told their own renditions of the story.

They learned about Estimation in Maths and used this knowledge to create a piece of artwork.

The children had to estimate how many beans they would use to create a picture of their choice.

They learned about the prediction by trying to guess how many beans they would use.

While some predictions were too high and others too low the comprehension of the skills to be obtained were a success!
