In their sports lessons our children have had fun and enjoyed all the benefits of jump rope exercise. Their hand-to-eye coordination, balance, heart rate and strong bones have all sprung into action!
Children can get plenty of exercise by jumping rope. Not only does jumping rope work out the heart and muscles of the body, it can also help improve your child's performance in school, since it increases blood flow to the brain and can help lower your child's stress levels.
Children agility, hand-to-eye coordination, and balance will improve so that they'll feel more sure on their feet. Rope jumping is also second to none for building strong bones.
Did you know that just 10 minutes of skipping can have the same health benefits as a 45-minute run!

According to the Skipping For Schools programme, "Skipping is itself a fundamental movement skill and can help not only with speeding up those nifty footwork skills or improving hand/eye coordination along with so many other skills needed within other sports, but it also assists in strengthening the core muscles, essential for dancers and gymnasts but equally as important for helping and improving everyday movement in children."
Our children have also been seen enjoying this old time favourite during their playtimes. Perfect for heathy bodies and minds before the challenge of the classroom!
