What is a volcano?

  Junior Kindergarten has been a hub of activity! We have been learning all about volcanos! Surrounded by all our dinosaurs, we created our very own volcano and it erupted!

We learnt that a volcano is a landform where molten rock erupts through the surface of the planet. In simple terms a it is a hole in the Earth from which molten rock and gas erupt. Did you know there are around 1,510 active volcanoes in the world!
