Our Grade 4 class has been learning about the Roman Empire and how they lived and fought in war.
The Grade 4 class has done a pizza box challenge to make things related to the Roman Empire.
We made swords, shields, helmets and the Coliseum. Come take a look in our class!!
Other things, we have been doing in class are making mosaics and reading ‘Across the Roman Wall’. The book tells us about the Roman life as slaves and how they survived. It is about an adventure that the main characters go on and they become friends in the end. In Math, we are learning about doubling, halving and how to partition it, multiplying and dividing.
In Music, we have been practicing for the Christmas play with Mrs. Rennie to learn the songs .On Tuesday November 25, 2014 at 6pm, we will be singing in front of IGA to make your spirts rise and bring Christmas cheer.
On Friday November 21, 2014, we went to the National Trust book launch for school.
In Science we are learning about the bones, muscles and joints. We are going to do a squeeze test to see who has the biggest muscles.
