The Grade 4 class has been very busy in their Numeracy and Literacy lessons. This week, we have learning about the radius and diameter of circles. The students learnt how to use a compass to draw circles with a specific radius. Not an easy task but they had fun doing it!
We also learned more about 2D shapes and the characteristics that they each possess. The students had loads of fun using tangrams to make shapes. They enjoyed drawing different types of polygons, both regular and irregular.
This term, we have been learning about the Roman Empire. We have been learning and discussing the importance of this empire and its impact on the world today. We have been learning about Roman numerals, architecture and aqueducts.
In Design and Technology, the students recycled aluminium food trays to make shields and the end product was fabulous!!
