In June 2016 the ISTCI hosted its annual Science Fair where all the children from Grades 3-6 research, test and produce a poster detailing their research and their scientific findings to a panel of judges.
Our annual school science fair exposes our children to a broad range of opportunities for scientific inquiry, arming them with the tools and knowledge they need to answer their questions about the world around them.
School science experiments are a great way to demonstrate important concepts in biology, physics and chemistry and the work and research continued at home on their individual science projects really boosts this learning.

Awesome Projects!
The standard of projects and presentations was very high as usual. Our guest judges were Heiri Kilic, Prakash Mishra, Andrew Hall, Mr and Mrs Haynes, both Science teachers from the British West Indies Collegiate.
The types of projects included: powering ipads with fruit, measuring exercise, investigating garlic, making homemade paper out of manure, dissolving oil spills and recycling.
