All the Grades from Senior Kindergarten to Grade 6 took part in a fantastically fun and competitive Sports Day at the National Sports Track. We had great support from the parents who not only cheered the children on but also helped with the running of the events, scoring and some even raced!
Our Sports Teacher Mark Defraine introduced new events for this year such as the ball kick and the obstacle race which were welcome additions. Also this year the parents' race was reintroduced and we had the Mums' 100m sprint, Dads' 100m sprint and the Mixed relay! Wow, exciting and very speedy indeed!
Thank you to the PTA for the shade, refreshments and supporters shop! The children loved being cheerleaders!
The overall winners were the Arawaks, second Caribsand in a close third were the Tainos! Congratulations to all! Each child received a medal!
