While Starry Night is one of the best known and most reproduced pieces of art in the world today, most people can't really tell you why, or explain the meaning behind the painting.
See below Grade 4 students painting their pieces of Van Gogh. What was so impressive was that every child produced a piece of art that was not only individual to them but something they were all very proud of.
Feeling Inspired
Part of the allure was that I played this beautiful video of Starry Night. The music and graphics were transformative for the students.
