A big CONGRATULATIONS to our Coach Benneth Williams and the ISTCI's Rugby Team for their third place win in the Inter-School Rugby Tournament!
This November our children proudly represented their school in the annual Inter-school tag rugby championship hosted by the TCI Rugby Football Club at the Meridian Field in the Grace Bay Village. This was the fifth year the tournament was held.
Many of the children enjoy Saturday morning tag rugby lessons at the TCI rugby ground and also in their sports lessons at school.
The children have really enjoyed the experience to learn a new sport during their lessons. Tag rugby is a non-contact, fast-moving game that is suitable for adults or children, and for boys and girls to play together.
well done ISTCI! We're proud of you all for displaying resilience and persistence throughout the tournament.
There was a great atmosphere down at the field and we would like to thank those who stepped up to referee, assist with teams, or helped out in any way. Thanks also to Samuel's dad Neil French for helping with coaching the kids.
Many thanks to everyone for coming down and participating in or supporting the inter-school championships, and congratulations to the winners.
First place went to the BWI Collegiate and second place Enid Capron.
It was a great day also for TCI Rugby!
