During our Topic lessons in Term 2 at ISTCI, we study the Turks and Caicos Islands and its rich culture and history. Students in Art and Design are introduced to the National Symbols and other features of the Turks and Caicos Islands that make our islands unique.
Turks and Caicos' National Bird is the Brown Pelican.
The National Flower is Island Heather found nowhere else in the world.
The National Tree is the Caribbean Pine and The Pink Flamingo is a bird unique to these islands.
