Our Team
My name is Iman Rudi-Bonotti and I am currently the Grade 5 teacher at The International School of Turks and Caicos. I have been teaching for 9 years, this being my second year at our lovely school.
I attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Cultural studies at Kingston University before completing a Post Grad in Primary Education (with EAL as a specialism) at The University of East London. Teaching has always been and always will be my passion; I could not imagine a more fulfilling profession. Working with and inspiring pupils is a highly rewarding experience from which I have gained both professional and personal satisfaction.
My goal is to provide students with endless learning opportunities which inspire, motivate and push them to strive for their personal best. I believe teaching to be something that extends beyond the classroom and that great teaching allows children to take risks, confidently problem solve and develop their critical thinking skills all whilst recognising that making mistakes is a vital part of learning.
I consider growth mindset, the belief that our abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work, invaluable to children’s learning - something I really want to continue to foster at The International School, through my interactions with students, teachers and parents alike.
I am thrilled to have returned to the ISTCI; I look forward to engaging in the many interesting aspects of teaching here, again, and taking advantage of the wide range of opportunities that the school has to offer. I am most excited to see my class make progress, both personally and academically and to celebrate their achievements at the end of the school year.
