Hi! My name is Janine Taylor. I began working at the International School when it was called The Ashcroft School in September 2000. I have experience being a Preschool and Junior Kindergarten Teacher and being and Assistant Teacher. I took 10 years off to be at home with my 3 daughters.

I returned to ISTCI in January 2015 as a Supply Teacher. Then, I taught Preschool for a term. In September, that year I started as the Librarian/Special Needs Coordinator.

I love books and reading and have really enjoyed expanding our library’s collection. With that has come a renewed enthusiasm for reading for the children within the school.

I have my Diploma in Early Childhood Development. In 2018 I completed my level 4 course in teaching learners with dyslexia and am excited to be enhancing my professional development in this area, with specific focus on the best ways to teach children to read and write.
