Looking back at April and March I have come to the conclusion that we have the BUSIEST primary school in Providenciales! The children rise to each new learning experience with enthusiasm and seem enjoy every minute of it.
Introducing our New Baby Clinic in SK
To support our learning about ‘Growing and Changing' we decided to set up Baby Clinic in SK. Children simply loved our Baby Clinic and assumed the role of a doctor or a nurse the moment they stepped into the classroom!
They are so eager to learn and explore about similarities and differences between themselves and others, making observations about babies and explaining why some things occur and learning about changes.
We've also talked about the importance for good health of physical exercise and a healthy diet, talking about ways to keep ourselves healthy and safe.
Field Trip to the Hospital
Our Field Trip to the Hospital was amazing!
Everyone was wearing a lab coat and hospital ID. Dr. Soler showed us around the hospital, we also visited the piece park and children's ward, where we saw a newborn baby.
Visiting Potcake Place
Visiting Potcake Place was wonderful! Learning how to take care for puppies was an unforgettable experience for the children in SK.
We learned what the puppy needs to grow up and how to care for your pet. Everyone got a chance to give a bath to a puppy and even feed one. Thank you Jane!
All about the Turks and Caicos
"Living History Day" was a huge success among kindergartners; we were able to learn about the first humans who settled in the Turks and Caicos and their way of life, as well as find out how TCI became one of the top producers of salt in the world and the way salt was collected in salinas.
Learning about culture, music and dance of our country has been a lots of fun, everyone enjoyed making cardboard costumes for Maskanoo Parade and of course, the excitement of dancing and singing is contagious and everyone was moving to the beat.

Practical Maths Day!
We had lots of practical maths as well. We were counting, measuring, shopping and comparing quantities, also we had a M & Ms day! Children sorted their M & M's, counted them, solved problems with them... " If I have 12 m & ms and I eat 3, how many will I have left?... Let's see!". After all practical math is " Yummy !"
