This week Grade 2 have created their own Garden!

They have planned it, designed it, made labels for it, prepared it and planted it.  They have learned about plants and gardens, what a plant needs to grow well, how seeds are dispersed, that different plants need different amounts of the things essential to healthy plant life.

Within the classroom, they have read story books, instructions and information texts, they have created paintings, collages and non-fiction texts on the computer (including learning how to insert pictures).

We have all learned so much and had such a lot of fun!
