On Friday, 23rd April 2021, The International School of the Turks and Caicos Islands celebrated World Book Day with hours of fun relating to books, authors, reading and illustrators!
Students from Nursery to Grade 9 dressed in their favourite book character costumes and paraded on the stage, flaunting their amazing homemade costumes.
During the week, Mr. Collier and Mrs. Rudi-Bonotti organised several book challenges. There was even an EXTREME reading challenge in which students had to photograph themselves reading in unusual places!
The day was filled with activities such as watching plays, creating bookmarks, guessing games and an assembly.
The students and teachers surely enjoyed this special day!
