Today, The International School of the Turks and Caicos celebrated World Book Day! It is a day where our students and staff celebrate authors, illustrators, books and READING!     Books have the ability to transport you to a different place, a different time and a different world! This was evident as we saw spectacular book character costumes during our parade and heard wonderful reading from our students.   There was a door decoration contest amongst our the entire school in which children and teachers came together to design a door of a traditional or classic tale. The competition was stiff!     The ability to read is one of the most important skills we can teach children. We encourage them to continue with their love of reading!
